My Top 3 Bath Additives
1. Hydrogen Peroxide
Most of us know about hydrogen peroxide but we think of the stuff they sell at the pharmacies. That’s only 3% hydrogen peroxide and it’s been processed for shelf live, which leaves heavy metals in it so you don’t want to ingest it. The real magic is in the food-grade 35%. It’s pure and has a high concentration. You’ll have to dilute it yourself because it can burn you at that concentration. You have to be very careful and dilute it accordingly to whatever use you’re using it for. In this case you’d need 2 cups of 35% hydrogen peroxide in a bath tub somewhat full of water. Before you buy hydrogen peroxide for uses like this, I highly recommend reading Flood Your Body with Oxygen so you have a better understanding of hydrogen peroxide and other oxygen therapies. Oxygen therapies are so powerful they’re used at many of the top alternative medical centers. throughout the world. The information in that book is invaluable.
My Personal Story of Healing With Hydrogen Peroxide
I have personally had miraculous results with just hydrogen peroxide baths alone. For nearly a year I suffered from sinusitis. I was doing everything I could do to stay healthy, yet my nose was running constantly. It was the worst health problem I have ever had, and it made me miserable because I spent most of my days blowing my nose. No matter how many herbs and supplements I took, the problem continued. Finally, I decided to dump the last of my hydrogen peroxide bottle into a bath. The next morning my symptoms were completely gone! This was such a relief because my symptoms were constant for so long. However, after about a week the symptoms returned. After realizing my house was contaminated with mold in the A/C, which seemed to blow spores throughout the house, we cleaned the mold the best we could and ran an Aranizer, but I still remained sick. I decided to order gallons of hydrogen peroxide and see if it could make me better again. Each time I’d take a bath I would get better but then the symptoms would come back. It wasn’t until I took several baths in one week that I got better and stayed better. After monitoring how I felt after each bath, there’s no doubt that it was the hydrogen peroxide baths that made me better. I will forever be grateful for this amazing product!
Magnesium is arguably one of the most important minerals, and it’s one we’re most deficient in too. Magnesium is used in so many functions of the body. With all the stresses related to modern living, we burn through magnesium in order to deal with the stress. Because our modern food system is lacking in nutrition, we end up deficient in one of the most important minerals our bodies need to function optimally – magnesium. People who are already deficient in magnesium have a harder time assimilating it through digestion so supplements aren’t very effective. That’s why magnesium baths are so powerful, the magnesium bypasses the digestive system and is absorbed through the skin!
Magnesium comes in different forms. We’re going to focus on a few different types you can put into your baths.
The two main forms of magnesium for baths are:
- Magnesium Sulfate – epsom salt, commonly sold in pharmacies. It’s cheap, good for plants, and somewhat effective in a bath. Therefore you can use epsom salt in a bath, but it’s not the best source of magnesium for us.
- Magnesium Chloride – the superior version, and less common. It absorbs better into the body and has stronger excretory properties on toxins. There’s a great book called Transdermal Magnesium Therapy that discusses magnesium’s many roles in the body and why it’s so important. For the bathtub, you can buy Magnesium Bath Flakes here. If you’d rather not take the baths but still want all of the benefits of magnesium therapy, you can buy magnesium oil here and spray it on topically.
3. Dead Sea Salts
Though Dead Sea salts aren’t good to eat, they’re great in baths! The Dead Sea has a long history and is known for its healing properties. Since ancient times, people have visited the dead sea to soak in its healing water. The water’s healing properties are attributed to the salt that’s naturally present in that particular sea. Salt from the dead sea has the same minerals as in the water. So when you add dead sea salt to your bath, you’re essentially creating a something similar to the dead sea. Health spas offer Dead Sea salt baths, but you can turn your bath tub into a health spa too. Dead Sea salt baths are considered to be beautifying and very good for the skin, even for successfully treating psoriasis.
ORMUS in Dead Sea Salt
Something very interesting and very little known about Dead Sea salts is that they have the largest concentration of ORMUS minerals that I know of. ORMUS is a topic far out of the scope of this post, but I’ll go over it briefly since its significance is important in understanding the magic in Dead Sea salts. ORMUS is another category of minerals. It’s like a new class of minerals that have strange properties, such as superconductivity. ORMUS minerals are present in food, soil, and water. They’re living minerals. Minerals are known to be great for health, but these minerals seem to have even more of an effect on good health. Plants thrive with ORMUS too. People are doing experiments such as the “wet method” and extracting ORMUS from Dead Sea salts. While some people are taking the ORMUS extracts and ingesting it with success, it may be better to feed that to your plants and then eat the plant. Aloe is one of the best plants at accumulating the ORMUS from Dead Sea salts. Aloe loves it! So if you’re already growing aloe, there’s another reason to order Dead Sea salt. It’s no wonder why soaking in a tub of ORMUS minerals is good for you.
